Rulon® and Meldin® materials are used as critical components for piston rings, valve seats, bearings, diaphragms for valve and pumps, to name just a few. In fact, our entire line of piston rings fabricated out of Rulon or Meldin materials can be found in compressors for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, cryogenic and compressed natural gas (CNG) systems. The PTFE diaphragms we supply are considered to be the highest performing, finest quality by the leaders of the valve and pump industries.

Application: Diaphragm Pump
Material: Meldin® 1357
| Features / Benefits | - This valve poppet/seal component for a diaphragm pump air valve undergoes repeated rapid impact. Meldin® 1357 has demonstrated good impact resistance and sealing performance under these conditions.
- Meldin® 1357 has a low coefficient of friction which promotes a longer life for the 440C stainless steel mating surface. Galling or scratching of the mating surface would cause poor sealing. Meldin® 1357 shows better sealing and durability performance than a metallic counterpart.
