Process Description
Polymer tape is bonded to various surfaces using heat and pressure and specially formulated adhesives. In many cases, the final bonded assembly can be refurbished to a like-new condition by stripping and rebonding a new polymer surface. Polymer tape is prepared for binding in our in-house etching process.

Rulon®, virgin PTFE, and filled-PTFE are materials used in the bonding process
